Vitamin D – why it's extra important during perimenopause

When estrogen levels drop, vitamin D becomes even more important for bones. At the same time, many Swedes have low levels during the winter months.

Vitamin D contributes to a normal immune system, muscle function and normal bones.

How much do you need?

The recommended intake is 10 micrograms per day.
